Production application data
No subprocessors. Institutional and student data inside AtlasOA and Atlas K-12 stays on your server. AtlasOA, LLC does not receive it, and no third party processes it on our behalf.
Some optional features connect to services your institution chooses and controls. These are your own providers, not our subprocessors:
- Your student information system or learning management system (read-only integrations).
- Your email server or relay, for alerts.
- Your offsite backup destination (network share, SFTP server, or S3-compatible storage), for AtlasOA offsite backups.
- Your Microsoft Entra ID tenant, for Atlas K-12 single sign-on.
All outside services
| Service | Category | What it receives | Application data? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Fonts | Staff browsers (both products) and this website | When a staff member opens a page, their browser requests the Inter typeface; Google receives the browser's IP address and user agent. | No |
| jsDelivr content network | Staff browsers (Atlas K-12) | The browser downloads the Chart.js charting library; the network receives the browser's IP address and user agent. | No |
| Public research websites (8 organizations, such as the IES What Works Clearinghouse and CASEL) | Atlas K-12 strategy library | The server's fetcher process checks and caches public strategy pages and documents. It sends only the page address and a user agent. | No |
| Cloudflare | Hosting for this website, atlasoa.com | Standard web request data for visitors to this site. Cloudflare also adds its privacy-focused web analytics and bot protection to pages, and hides email addresses from harvesters. | No. The products do not use Cloudflare. |
| YouTube (Google) | This website, Atlas K-12 demo video page | Nothing until a visitor presses play. The player uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode; once it loads, YouTube receives standard request data such as the browser's IP address and user agent, under YouTube's own privacy policy. | No. The products do not use YouTube. |
| Our business email provider | Evaluation requests and support | Whatever you choose to email us. | Only if your staff send it. Please do not email student records. |
| Licensing | None | Nothing. AtlasOA license keys are verified on your machine. Atlas K-12 has no license check. | No |
| Update checks | None | Nothing. The products do not check for updates. | No |
| Payments | Purchasing | Billing contact and payment details for your purchase. | No |
To avoid browser requests to Google Fonts and jsDelivr entirely, your network team can block those hosts; pages fall back to system fonts. In Atlas K-12, charts may not render while jsDelivr is blocked.
Changes to this list
If we ever add an outside service that could receive institutional or student data, we will update this page and notify customers in advance, as described in the Data Processing Agreement.
Do not take our word for it. Test it yourself. Install AtlasOA or Atlas K-12 on a machine your institution controls, use sample or non-production data, and let your own people decide.
